The Annual Member Meeting of the LWVMC features - Dr. Grant Colfax, Director Marin County Health and Human Services Marin County. Dr. Colfax was appointed by the Marin County Board of Supervisors in April 2015. The Marin Health Department has 700 employees and an annual budget of $160 million. He served as head of the White House Office of National AIDS Policy. He then moved to a non-profit "Programs for Appropriate Technology in Health" focusing on global HIV and tuberculosis issues.
