This public hearing , along with the first one on Dec. 13 are intended to open the districting process to the community and encourage input prior to creation of draft district boundaries. These hearings will include information about the redistricting process, descriptions of data and mapping tools, and ways that the community can provide input. MHD is seeking input from the public on how the boundaries of its five districts will be drawn, including input about neighborhoods, natural geographic/geological boundaries, and communities of interest that the public would like to be considered and reflected.
