2025 brings a wave of 100,000 elections at the state and local level across the country -- and that means America's nonprofits have a golden opportunity to get their communities engaged for these historically low-turnout races. But in times as divisive as these, nonprofits NEED to know the limits of IRS 501(c)(3) regulations like the back of their proverbial hands.

Featuring 10-year IRS veteran and current practicing attorney Stephanie Robbins, "Staying Inside the Lines" is ideal for nonprofit professionals at any stage of experience in the voter engagement space. With Stephanie's help, we'll outline the basics of IRS nonpartisan activity stipulations for 501(c)(3) organizations, cover what activities may or may not run afoul of those regulations, and take some time to answer your general questions.

"Staying Inside the Lines" Webinar Panel:

  • Facilitator: Gwen Stembridge (Associate Director of Education & Partnerships, Nonprofit VOTE)

  • Panelist: Stephanie Robbins (Attorney/Partner, Harmon, Curran, Spielberg & Eisenberg, LLP)

If you're not sure you can make it to the webinar, then you'll still receive a follow-up email with a full webinar recording if you RSVP.

This webinar will be live captioned. Should you need other accommodations to access the webinar, please email info@nonprofitvote.org.
