August 29: ELECTION DAY - Last Day to Vote

Vote by mail ballots must be postmarked no later than Election Day (August 29) and received by the Elections Dept by 7 days after Election Day. No postage needed, sign and date the return envelope to insure that your ballot is counted.
Ballots returned to an Official Ballot Drop Box must be dropped off before 8pm on Election Day, no postage needed, envelope must be signed for ballot to be counted.
Less than 7 days before Election Day, it is recommended to return your ballot to an Official Ballot Drop Box or the Marin County Elections Dept. to avoid possible late postmark issues.
