INFORMATIONAL PRESENTATION REGARDING PROPOSED 2021 SUPERVISORIAL REDISTRICTING PROCESS AND TIMELINE
Assistant County Administrator Dan Eilerman provided an overview of the proposed 2021 redistricting process and timeline for supervisorial redistricting in Marin County. Attorney Chris Skinnell of the law firm Nielsen Merksamer Parrinello Gross & Leoni LLP gave a presentation covering the process and criteria for the redistricting including a timeline with key dates, public hearings, public outreach, and the impact of redistricting on current Supervisorial Districts.
Mr. Skinnell responded to questions and comments from the Board.
Three members of the public, including Scott McKown, Co-Chairman of the League of Women Voters of Marin County Local Governance Committee and
Stephanie McNally, Director of Advocacy and Policy at Canal Alliance, addressed the Board.Assistant County Administrator Dan Eilerman and Attorney Chris Skinnell responded to questions.
