The League of Women Voters of Marin County partnered with community organizations to provide candidate forums to engage and educate voters prior to the November 8, 2022 General Election. As a non-partisan organization, the League does not support or oppose any political party or candidate for public office.
Most of our candidate forums were virtual, produced using the ZOOM webinar feature with a livestream on our YouTube Channel & simulcast on MarinTV Channel 30 on their scheduled date and time. The Sept. 28 forum for the Marin Municipal Water District Board was IN-PERSON (Corte Madera Community Center) and recorded. The San Rafael City Schools Board of Trustees Forum on Oct.12 and the Novato Unified School District Board of Trustees, Area 4 Forum on Oct.24 were a live ZOOM webinar with a simultaneous Spanish language interpretation option (NCTV produced the 10/24 forum) Note: English & Spanish recordings posted for each forum that had Spanish interpretation.
