About the program
Drought isn’t an equal opportunity crisis—some sectors and communities are more affected than others. Join the PPIC Water Policy Center and state and local experts for a panel discussion about how to reduce its impacts to the most vulnerable sectors.
This research and event are supported with funding from the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) National Integrated Drought Information System (NIDIS) program and the S. D. Bechtel, Jr. Foundation.

Grant Davis, general manager, Sonoma County Water Agency
Alvar Escriva-Bou, research fellow, PPIC Water Policy Center

Ellen Hanak, senior fellow and director, PPIC Water Policy Center
Josué Medellín-Azuara, associate professor, University of California, Merced
