Marin City Live! Presents: Samantha R. Vamos

The Marin City Library is excited to welcome Bay Area children’s book author Samantha R. Vamos. Samantha’s books include Alphabet Trucks and Alphabet Trains. Her first book Before You Were Here, Mi Amor won the 2010 WA State Book Award, and her book The Cazuela That the Farm Maiden Stirred won the 2012 Pura Belpré Illustration Honor. Prior to her success as an author Samantha was a practicing attorney and is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center. Samantha will read Alphabet Boats, a lyrical journey for children of all ages to learn all about boats and the ABC’s.
