About this event
In 2019, the League of Women Voters of the United States launched the People Powered Fair MapsTM in all 50 states and Washington, D.C. This project has prompted state-led actions to create transparent redistricting processes that involve citizens and ensure the needs of communities, rather than elected officials, are represented as districts maps are drawn.
On September 30, the League of Women Voters of the United States will host a discussion on the role of community districting at the local level with leaders from NAACP, National Congress of American Indians, and APIA Vote who will share information on the work being done to ensure we have fair and representative maps!
