Board of Supervisors seeks representative from District 4

San Rafael, CA – The application deadline has been extended for an opening on the Marin Human Rights Commission for a District 4 representative. Applications are due May 27. 

District 4 encompasses Homestead Valley, Corte Madera, Larkspur, Greenbrae, San Quentin Village, eastern San Rafael, western Novato, and West Marin (San Geronimo Valley and the Panoramic Highway area from Muir Beach to Dillon Beach).

The mission of the Human Rights Commission is to promote a community based on social justice, with equality for all, and to eliminate discrimination based on race, religion, color, age, ancestry, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, place of birth, national origin, or disability. The commission provides a public forum, serves as a resource to the community, and advises the Board of Supervisors on human rights issues.
