Study of Services for Older Adults
As Marin’s 60-and-older population booms, so does the need for services and support. Many older adults are challenged by caregiver options, experiencing or at risk of dementia, or facing homelessness. More are isolated in their homes, facing loneliness, depression, and ageism. The Board will hear a report from a consulting firm to ensure maximum awareness of the needs of Marin’s older adults and those with disabilities and assess the services that address that population.
