April 19: Public test of ballot counting equipment is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. in the Elections Department.
April 22: Voter Registration Deadline
April 23: Conditional Voter Registration & Same Day Voting Begins at Elections Dept. Vote Center ( Learn More )
April 30: Last day for voters to request a vote by mail ballot be mailed to them (voters can still pick up a ballot at the Elections Department)
May 7: ELECTION DAY - Last Day to Vote

7 am to 8 pm
Vote by mail ballots must be postmarked no later than Election Day (May 7) and received by the Elections Dept by 7 days after Election Day. No postage needed, sign and date the return envelope to insure that your ballot is counted.
Ballots returned to an Official Ballot Drop Box must be dropped off before 8pm on Election Day, no postage needed, envelope must be signed for ballot to be counted.
Less than 7 days before Election Day, it is recommended to return your ballot to an Official Ballot Drop Box or the Marin County Elections Dept. to avoid possible late postmark issues.
