Marin City Live! is excited to present the following schedule of virtual author events. Do not miss an opportunity to meet these amazing authors as they share their wonderful stories with us. Each author will read from their book and then take questions from the audience.

Marin City Live! Presents: Susan Muaddi Darraj

Susan Muaddi Darraj is an award-winning author having won the AWP Grace Paley Prize, the 2016 Arab American Book Award and the 2016 American Book Award for A Curious Land: Stories from Home. In 2019, Susan Muaddi Darraj was named winner of the Rose Nader Award by the American Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee for her “unwavering dedication and commitment to values of equality and justice.” In 2020, Susan debuted her children’s chapter book series, Farah Rocks, about a smart brave Palestinian American girl named Farah Hajjar. Join us as Susan reads from her book Farah Rocks Fifth Grade - a story about school, supporting family, lies and overcoming bullies.
