LWVMC Gives 2021 Community Service Award to Marin County Public Health Officers

The League of Women Voters of Marin County acknowledges the contributions of an individual or individuals to the Marin County community every year .

In 2021, the LWVMC Board voted to give the Community Service Award to Dr. Matt Willis and Dr. Lisa Santora for their work as Marin County Public Health Officers during the COVID Pandemic. The award was given to Dr. Willis and Dr. Santora during the October 7, 2021 Fall Kickoff Event.

Our Local Redistricting Committee recently sent a letter to the Marin County Board of Supervisors regarding our recommendations for a fair and transparent Redistricting process in 2021. State requirements as well as suggestions to augment the fairness of the process were included.
